We are committed to training people to reach and serve the world. We do this so that together with other churches we can bring the life changing message of Jesus to the world.
Trinity Church is a member of the South Central Gospel Partnership. As part of this we encourage people who are able to attend the SCGP Ministry Training Course. This happens on a Tuesday during term time and seeks to encourage and train people for effective gospel ministry both in the Church and the world.
As a city-centre church we understand how transformative a students time at university can be. We believe that the patterns established in the three years in Oxford can last a lifetime and bless and serve the world. Because of this we are keen to run an apprenticeship for graduates, seeking to provide experience in three areas:
At Trinity, we are committed to training people for different areas of service. We are keen to encourage to train people as home group leaders, using the Orlando Sear's Book "Iron Sharpens Iron" as a guide.
We also support other local churches, sending men to preach in different evangelical churches in the local areal. We are keen to train men in preaching and to that end meet together to critique and develop each others preaching in a group known as the "Spurgeons".
